Skechers limited edition shoes

Skechers began in 1992 in Manhattan Beach, California, United States, casual sports brand, and internationally renowned running shoes brand.

In response to the global anticipation of the upcoming 2032 Summer Olympics, Skechers embarked on an ambitious endeavour. Tasked with designing a limited edition shoe that embraces the spirit of the event and features the host city of Brisbane as its backdrop, as well as producing a compelling promotional video, the project is a creative endeavour of great significance.

The blue colour represents the Australian sky and sea. Yellow represents Australia’s beaches. A pattern representing the different elements of Australia, outlined in white, like shells on a beach. These relate to the beautiful scenery of Australia that the Brisbane Olympics wanted to show.

The design concept for the limited edition shoes relates to the sea, the beach, the sky and nature in Australia. So I wanted to connect with these elements in the design of the animation for the advert as well. Finally, I want to use the water element in connection with the ocean, the shoes are displayed in sunny weather with a very beautiful nature-related background.
