This project was developed for a conceptual collaboration between Skechers and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games. Inspired by Queensland’s natural emblems and coastal landscape, the collection blends sporty identity with local cultural references. The design focuses on building a cohesive visual system that feels playful, fresh, and distinctly connected to the spirit of Australia.
The 3D animation was designed as a hero visual piece, using abstract motion and material transformation to express the coastal concept. The sneaker emerges from water droplets and natural textures, evolving into a full shoe in a surreal, sunlit seascape. The ad blends oceanic calm with athletic dynamism — showcasing both product detail and narrative atmosphere, and demonstrating the power of motion to elevate brand storytelling.
The motif system is built on hand-drawn illustrations of local symbols, including the Cooktown Orchid, coral, rugby ball, and Barrier Reef clownfish. These elements reflect both the natural richness and sporting energy of Queensland. By translating them into graphic icons, they become versatile visual tools used across packaging, apparel, and digital content — reinforcing the brand’s regional identity with warmth and clarity.
